The cheapest and fastest way to get to the port of Piraeus from Athens is to take line 1 of the subway which costs 1.40 euros and stops at the central Monastiraki square.
Another good option is the X80 bus that costs 4.5 euros and takes half an hour and leaves Syntagma Square and the Acropolis from May to September.
If you are far from any metro or bus stop, you can take a taxi for a price of between 20 and 30 euros.

If you want to go directly from Athens airport to Piraeus you can use the x96 bus that will take you in 90 minutes for about 6 euros. These buses run all day and have an exit frequency of about half an hour.

Another alternative is to take a taxi that costs about 60 euros or book this comfortable private transfer service, in which a driver will be waiting for you at the terminal and will take you directly to the departure dock of your ferry in about 45 minutes for little more of 50 euros.
