If you want more information, visit our GUIDE TO A TRIP TO BUDAPEST

1- Discover that the capital of Hungary is named for the union of two cities: Buddha (right of the Danube) and Pest (on the left). Super tip: to make friends with the city, nothing better than participating in this free tour in Spanish (it's free, yes, but it's always advisable to leave a tip!).

2- Walk through its main streets: Váci Utca and Av. Andrássy full of life, curious shops and beautiful buildings.

3- Tour the magnificent Buda Castle, from where you also get some of the best views of the city.

4-An original place to have a fun time is the Labyrinth of Buda Castle. Although in 2011 it was officially closed, and since then there is a small part that has been open to the public.

5- One of the symbols of the city is undoubtedly the magnificent Parliament, An unmissable visit. It is best to book so you don't run out of space!

You can sign up for a full city tour (4,5h), which includes admission (skip-the-line) to Parliament, mini-bus transfers and Spanish-speaking guide. It costs only € 40 and will take you through all the main corners of the city. Perfect for those who don't have much time.

7- If you want to take the best photo of Parliament, you will undoubtedly have to go for a walk in the Fisherman's Bastion which commemorates, with its 7 towers, the 7 tribes that founded Hungary. If you can, visit it also at night.
